Job description

SUMMARY:

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting teams within operations to identify, plan and complete projects. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other programs; and understands the importance of technology. Assists team Managers with planning, organizing, developing and controlling department activities to accomplish individual, team and company objectives. Ensure and assists the Operations Team in the documentation, standardization and measurement of key business processes to promote a total quality management environment; allows for the continual improvement and efficiency of key departmental processes. Responsible for providing internal customer support to all branches, treasury management and lending personnel concerning questions about the deposit and loan records on the deposit and loan systems. This position must work harmoniously with all departments within the organization.

Assists with the process flow documentation for assigned systems and areas of responsibility and pursues areas of improvement.

Assists in maintaining the repository of procedures, processes, job aids and other critical information for functional areas.

Assists in driving the effective use of technology within functional areas.

Assists in managing to defined customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines.

Collaborates with business areas on new initiatives, processes or products and assists with implementation within functional areas.

Learns all aspects of the operations department - branch operations, deposit support, lending operations, payment operations and operations shared services to be a well-rounded operations employee.

Fills in when needed where teams may be short-staffed and provides assistance in the daily completion of work.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management, the branch network, other departments and vendors.
