Job description

  • Notify officers of negative balances or other account-specific issues.
  • Shred documents in accordance with federal, state and industry regulations.
  • Process wire transfers, domestic and international, and ensures all required documentation is collected and completed, as well as, maintaining records of such transfers.
  • Process wire returns and/or rejects.
  • Perform the Call Back procedures on all wire transfer request that are completed by fax, e-mail,cash management, and phone requests.
  • Communicate well with internal and external customers by e-mail and phone calls.
  • Handle research requests as needed.
  • Train to be back-up to department co-workers, as assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of banking experience with a strong understanding of wire transfers.
  • Basic knowledge of federal banking regulations, including BSA, AML laws, and OFAC Sanctions Programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong ability to operate office equipment, including scanners, image systems, and printers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members.
