Job description

Position Summary

The DevOps Engineer supports the delivery of modern, secure, and scalable technology solutions by combining fullstack application development with DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automated deployment expertise. The role designs and maintains applications using contemporary and AIenabled technologies, while building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms. It includes developing and troubleshooting deployment and automation services that serve multiple business units and ensuring secure, reliable software release processes. As a subjectmatter expert in application development and automation, the Engineer contributes to strategic direction, strengthens modernization and cloud initiatives, and leads key efforts within the IT Application and Automation team.

Primary Success Factors

  • Builds and maintains modern, AIenabled applications and supports custom software.

  • Leads design, integration, and strategic planning for CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms, ensuring new capabilities and deployment processes are efficiently automated.

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field

  • Five years of technical IT experience with at least two years of experience in Full Stack developer and/or DevOps, CI/CD engineer, automation or similar job function

  • DevOps & Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, ECR, CloudFormation, Lambda), Azure VM, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS Fargate, Terraform, Ansible, RunMyJobs

  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Maven, NPM, JMeter, Selenium

  • Monitoring: Datadog, AWS CloudWatch

  • Security & Compliance: GitHub Advanced Security, Chekov, CodeQL, AWS Secrets Manager, SOXoriented workflows, API secretrotation processes

  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular

  • Backend: Java; Python for automation and backend services; REST API development
