Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer for a position within the financial services sector, focusing on Global Markets. This role requires extensive programming experience and a background in front-office applications in banking services. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of risk and pricing applications and possess strong skills in Python, REST, and ReactJS.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain front-office applications for banking services.
  • Engage in quantitative research and development, performing domain-specific data analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of risk and pricing applications.
  • Utilize Python, REST, and ReactJS for full-stack development.
  • Work with both object-oriented and relational databases.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, with Python being essential.
  • 7+ years of experience as a senior developer on front-office applications in banking services.
  • 7+ years of experience in quantitative research and development, with the ability to handle domain-specific data analysis.
  • 7+ years of experience in REST, ReactJS, or full-stack development.
  • Experience with object databases and relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products.
  • 5+ years of experience in risk and pricing application development.
  • Experience or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets.
  • Subject matter expertise working on the Quartz platform.
