PRN BHT (Behavioral Health Technician) - Behavioral Group Homes and Facilities
Location: Phoenix, AZ and surrounding areas.
Position Type: PRN
Reports To: Clinical Supervisor/Program Director
About Us: We are dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals residing in behavioral group homes. Our mission is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where residents can achieve their highest potential.
Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and flexible PRN Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential medical and administrative support to our residents in behavioral group homes. You will work on an as needed/ On call basis, covering shifts to ensure continuous, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Support:
    • Assist with routine medical assessments and monitor residents' health status.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
    • Perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and preparing lab specimens.
    • Assist in the management of chronic diseases and conditions, ensuring compliance with care plans.
  • Resident Care:
    • Support residents with daily activities and personal care needs.
    • Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.
    • Document and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the clinical supervisor.
    • Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all residents.
    • Schedule and coordinate medical appointments and follow-ups.
    • Assist with inventory management, ensuring medical supplies are stocked and organized.
    • Support the implementation of health and wellness programs within the group homes.
