Description

The Business Process Project Manager leads cross-functional initiatives designed to overhaul, automate, or optimize operational workflows. This role oversees, coordinates, and manages business process improvement projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive success and efficiency in a dynamic work environment.


Below is a list of essential functions of this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, execute and monitor process improvement projects in collaboration with the Bright Ideas Committee, CX and EX Taskforces, Department Managers, and other stakeholders. 
  • Ensure alignment of business process improvements with CNB's strategic goals and business priorities.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders. 
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies for efficient workflow.
  • Identify and resolve project issues proactively to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE


To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. An associate's degree in business administration, project management, or related field of study is preferred, and two years' experience in managing projects. A background check will be conducted. 

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate directly and effectively.
  • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Ability to utilize all Microsoft suite products including Copilot, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiarity with robotic process automation and AI tools. Experience with project management software is preferred.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation. 
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.  


This position operates in a professional office environment or has a remote or hybrid work option with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. May be required to lift 30 pounds in weight. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
