We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team. Responsibilities include overseeing office staff, supporting accounting, and streamlining workflow across departments. You’ll manage records, cash flow, and financial reporting while fostering a professional, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Controller with daily accounting office operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, and month-end closings
  • Oversee and support office staff: hiring, training, supervision, and workflow management
  • Perform daily cash management tasks, including bank reconciliations and deposits
  • Review and manage paperwork and deal flow from sales, service, and parts departments
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for deals, commissions, inventory changes, and financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, dealership policies, and state/federal regulations
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial statements and reporting as required
  • Assist with special projects, audits, and operational improvements as assigned
  • Serve as a point of contact between departments to streamline operations and resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an automotive dealership office or accounting environment
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting practices (AP/AR, GL, journal entries)
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Professional, solution-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
