Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, lead, organize and execute all Priority Banking business initiatives to grow Asset Under Management (AUM) and Investment and Insurance Revenue (I&I Rev) for the Priority Banking Center (PBC).

  • Effectively manage and oversee the overall day-to-day management of the PBC, to ensure operational efficiency and profit maximization by implementing tactical sales & marketing strategies, setting team goals and direction to achieve targets given.

  • Evaluate resources, market information and sales force capability to devise a structured and effective sales plan for execution.

  • Develop a service model with people capability and process efficiency to ensure the PBC has a strong presence in the local community.

  • Proactively engage and reach out to existing customers and prospects by having regular joint sales calls and visits with RMs.

  • Drive and create a strong culture of teamwork and enhance working relationship with all stakeholders.

  • Ensure all regulatory (AML, SC Guidelines) and sales/general compliance (FNSL) of PBC are tightly guarded

  • Hire the right people to build a successful and strong PBC team.

  • Plan and implementing acquisition, referral and Priority Banking customer upgrading strategies to sustain growth in number of Priority Banking customers in the bank.

  • Lead, motivate and manage Relationship Managers (RMs) sales activities and performance against plan and ensuring RMs contribute to the bottom-line of Priority Banking business through the accomplishment of Key Result Areas (KRAs) and revenue targets.

  • Coach and provide guidance to all PBC staff to ensure they are adequately trained and licensed to carry out their jobs competently in achieving the PBC business objectives while delivering distinguished customer experience.

  • Collaborate strategically with other business segments (branch banking and business banking) and sales channels to solicit high net worth referral, upgrade and business opportunity.

  • Responsible in achieving targets and contribute towards the Priority Banking business, in line with the bank's Retail Wealth Management Strategy.

  • Responsible for PBC audit and compliance in line with the Bank's internal policy, standard and procedures and other regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or a related field from any recognized university.

  • Possess relevant certification and licenses in Investment and Bancassurance

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in a financial institution

  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in managing HNW banking and wealth management sales.

  • Excellent commercial acumen, analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Leadership skills - able to lead a large diverse team, and foster strong teamwork within Priority Banking Centre.

  • Able to make independent decisions with minimal supervision.

  • Highly motivated and result-driven

  • Develop young talent for wealth management front-line
