Job description

We are looking for a growth-minded Business Manager to join the Treasury Services Finance & Business Management team, supporting the Receivables & Public Sector businesses. The team plays a core role in forwarding business initiatives and shaping the strategic vision of the business. The Receivables business, part of the broader Payments organization, delivers solutions that help clients efficiently collect, process, reconcile, and manage incoming payments across digital, paper, and cash channels. Through products such as Lockbox, Receivables Online, Currency Services, Check Deposits, and Invoice/Bill Presentment, our Product, Solutions Specialists, and Commercialization teams promote innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and support clients in the U.S. and globally. The Public Sector business provides payment and treasury solutions to government and public sector clients, partnering across Product, Sales, Operations, and Technology to deliver innovative solutions that help clients improve operational efficiency, manage risk, and meet evolving payment needs.

As a Vice President in the Finance & Business Management team, you will support the head of both Receivables & Public Sector businesses and be co-located in Chicago. The team believes in a collaborative approach, and building and maintaining relationships will be a key to success in this role. This is a highly visible role across the organization and offers the ability to work closely with stakeholders who are diverse in both seniority and geographic location. In addition to the below responsibilities, you will manage other general issues related to real estate, staffing, and corporate requests. A learning mindset is essential.

Job responsibilities

  • Key point of contact for front office and support functions to help achieve business objectives, and drive data analysis to help facilitate decision making.
  • Support business heads through pipeline management, strategy development, financial analysis and expense management process.
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis.
  • Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating advanced design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques.
  • Maintain business Objectives and Key Results metrics.
  • Create mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and forward next steps.
  • Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks.
  • Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables.
  • Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions.
  • Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related areas.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, Business Management, or Strategy roles within Financial Services. 
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail.
  • Skilled in communication, influencing and relationship building. 
  • Ability to work well individually and partner effectively.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions.
  • Proficient in distilling data and information into clear, conclusive presentations.
