Job Summary
Inspect raw material and/or parts, audit production practices and processes, report on non-conformances and assist with maintenance of Quality Management System.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Accurately inspect Raw Materials and Finished Products visually and dimensionally with gauges, scales, calipers, rulers, protractors, squares and other measuring instruments in accordance with Work Instructions and specifications.
  • Segregate Non-Conforming product or Material
  • Review of Material Test Reports, Certificates of Compliance, Lab Test Results against specifications and requirements
  • Perform Root Causes and Corrective Action Analysis of non-conformance products and process utilizing 8D methodology
  • Perform Internal Audits
  • Maintain Calibration and Verification list and records for measuring tools
  • Complete required documentation for work performed
  • Perform data entry of work results into appropriate databases
  • Reconcile outgoing shipments, as required
  • Meet all TKMNA employee attributes and competencies

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write English, proficient in technical communication, and performance of basic math problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds
  • Proficient and correct use of measuring instruments for inspection of products (combination square, tape measure, scales, gauges, calipers, protractors etc.)
  • Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to accurately inspect basic material, commodities, processes, understand GD & T drawings

Preferred requirements:
  • College courses or certificates in Quality Assurance-related field of study
  • 2 years' experience using basic measurement instruments
  • 2 years' experience in a Quality Assurance Inspection position
  • Quality Management System experience (example ISO9001, AS9100)
  • Lean 6S experience

Job Compensation
Day Shift: 05:00-15:30 Monday-Thursday
Hourly: $24-$27
