Job description

Company: MVSB 

Title: Credit Manager

Location: Hybrid scheduled based in Laconia or Meredith, N.H.

Position Details: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

FLSA: Exempt, Officer First/Mid-Level Officials and Managers

Salary: Negotiable based on level of experience up to $125,000.00



MVSB is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead the Commercial Credit Department in a hybrid role, based at our Laconia or Meredith, NH branch. This role oversees credit analysis, annual credit reviews, appraisal review functions, and departmental workflow to support sound commercial lending decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial credit experience, sound judgment, and the ability to guide a collaborative, high-performing team.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead department workflow for credit analysis, annual reviews, financial tracking, and appraisal review functions
  • Prepare and oversee credit analysis reports for new commercial loan applicants
  • Ensure credit review and underwriting processes align with lending policies and regulatory requirements
  • Review commercial relationships for covenant compliance, financial performance, and loan exceptions
  • Manage, coach, and develop credit staff while supporting strong collaboration with lending partners

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Five to seven years of related credit analysis experience in banking or credit environment 
  • Extensive commercial credit analysis, banking, and/or related credit experience with ability to read, interpret and analyze financial statements
  • Strong financial analysis, communication, judgment, and attention to detail
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Proficiency with common desktop software, lending/credit platforms, and Microsoft Excel
