Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual company, is seeking motivated and career-driven individuals to join our Insurance Sales Apprenticeship Program. This is a structured, 6-month, hands-on development program designed to prepare participants for a successful career in insurance sales.

As an apprentice, you will build foundational knowledge of insurance products, develop consultative sales skills, and gain real-world experience working alongside Sales Managers and Agents. Successful completion of the program is intended to lead to a full-time, benefits-eligible Sales Agent position featuring a competitive base salary, robust uncapped commission structure, bonus opportunities & revenue-sharing potential!

 

Compensation: $24/hourEmployment Type: Temporary (6 months)Benefits: Not eligible

What You'll Do

  • Learn and develop knowledge of auto, home, life, and specialty insurance products
  • Obtain required insurance licenses (company-supported)
  • Shadow and partner with Sales Managers and Sales Agents
  • Conduct customer needs analyses to identify coverage opportunities
  • Assist with prospecting, outreach, and lead generation activities
  • Support quoting, proposal development, and new business processing
  • Build relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage customer interactions and pipeline activity
  • Participate in community events and networking to promote the Comparion brand
  • Develop and execute prospecting and Centers of Influence (COI) strategies

Program Structure

Throughout the apprenticeship, participants will progress through:

  • Foundation Building: Licensing, product knowledge, systems training
  • Sales Development: Customer conversations, needs-based selling, closing support
  • Business Development: Prospecting, networking, and pipeline management
