PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To develop and implement an exemplary honors music program that provides the highest quality educational, artistic, and performance opportunities for every student musician.

- To coordinate rehearsals, performances, auditions, and special events in support of program goals.

- To clearly communicate musical expectations, performance standards, and rehearsal objectives to students and explain their significance for artistic and personal growth.
- To utilize appropriate and varied instructional techniques, rehearsal methods, and learning activities.
- To maintain an effective system for monitoring student progress and performance and to communicate that progress to appropriate individuals.
- To inspire students to pursue musical excellence through meaningful learning experiences and high-quality performance opportunities.
