Job description

[About the Role]
Join our Rockville, MD-based team as an Engineering - Electrical Engineer specializing in Mixed Signal Digital Design for cutting-edge aerospace and space-borne platforms. You'll drive the creation and verification of high-speed digital printed-wire assemblies crucial to satellite radar and communication systems operating at P-Band and S-Band frequencies. Lead innovation in a highly collaborative environment and help shape the future of satellite technology.
[Responsibilities]
- Lead the design, analysis, and verification of high-speed digital PW assemblies for space and aerospace applications
- Oversee projects involving P-Band (225-390 MHz), S-Band (2.4 GHz), and other satellite frequencies
- Apply advanced digital design techniques and ensure adherence to IPC PCB standards
- Utilize Altium Designer (eCAD) to develop manufacturable PCB layouts
- Mentor and support junior mixed-signal PCB designers
- Champion best-in-class design practices and continuous improvement initiatives
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 15 years' experience in electrical engineering, with significant focus on mixed-signal digital design
- Deep expertise in high-speed digital circuits for aerospace and satellite communications
- Mastery of Altium Designer for PCB layout and manufacturability
- Strong understanding of IPC PCB standards
- Ability to lead, coach, and mentor technical teams
- US Citizenship (due to project requirements)

- TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience with space-borne or CubeSat hardware development
