Job description

Indiana University Health, Indiana's most comprehensive and top-ranked healthcare system is actively recruiting Gastroenterologists to join our highly skilled team of physicians in Muncie, Indiana. Do you want to provide challenging and meaningful work for the good of every patient? Look no further than our robust and collaborative team!

Position Details:

  • Full-time employment (Monday-Friday schedule)
  • Practice locations include; 95% at Ball Memorial Hospital and 5% outreach at Jay County Hospital
  • Work-life balance with On-Call: 1:5
  • 25% Inpatient / 75% Outpatient
  • Team: 5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Providers
  • Patient Volume: Individuals can expect on average 40-60 procedures per week 
  • Procedures include: upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, band ligation, ERCP/EUS (not required), RFA & esophageal motility
  • Teaching residents, lectures, adjunct faculty appointment, limited drug trials 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
  • Internal Medicine residency 
  • Fellowship training required in Gastroenterology
  • Eligibility for or possession of Indiana medical license
