Job Description โ€“ Baler Operator

Position Summary:
The Baler Operator will safely operate baling machinery to process recyclable and waste materials. This role involves sorting materials, monitoring equipment performance, and maintaining a clean work area while meeting production goals.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate baler machinery safely and efficiently
  • Load cardboard, plastic, paper, or other materials into baler
  • Tie, stack, and move completed bales for storage or shipment
  • Inspect materials for contamination or non-acceptable items
  • Monitor equipment for jams or mechanical issues
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of baler equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Assist with general warehouse or production duties as needed
