The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in counseling to deliver personalized and empathetic support to those in need.

About the Organization

At Recovery Wellbeing Counseling Center, our commitment lies in harmonizing mental and physical healthcare to elevate the well-being of our community. We aim to enhance access to reliable, individualized mental health support, recognizing the multi-faceted challenges our clients face. Our team, comprising seasoned professionals in the behavioral health field, is dedicated to making this ambitious goal a reality.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible work environment as it is fully remote, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with your personal life. Our outpatient office setting emphasizes collaboration among team members while enabling individual counselors to tailor their approaches based on client needs. You will operate primarily from home but will engage actively in team meetings and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients' needs, identifying challenges and strengths to foster effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitate clear communication between clients, their families, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and treatment objectives.
  • Create structured plans outlining appointments, home visits, and observation sessions to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Organize and execute home visits to gather insights through in-home observations and data collection, enabling a holistic understanding of client circumstances.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly progress reports to track client advancements, assisting in the evaluation of program effectiveness.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to collaborate with healthcare professionals toward integrated care solutions.
  • Provide ongoing training for staff to enhance their proficiency in executing program plans and adhering to documentation protocols.
  • Manage case records diligently, ensuring essential information is accessible to authorized personnel.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass a diverse client population, including both adults and youth. We emphasize providing culturally sensitive support tailored to the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client. Your counseling will play a vital role in addressing challenges related to family dynamics, trauma, and substance use.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to connect with a varied clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities that enhance client engagement and outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and client caseload. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice insurance, and life insurance. We ensure our employees enjoy a robust work-life balance complemented by flexible work schedules and a clear pathway for career advancement.
