Job description

Molly’s Cupcakes River East is seeking a motivated Pastry Professional to join our pastry team. This role supports daily pastry production and decorating.  Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced, creative kitchen environment.

Position Details

  • Status: Part-time or full-time
  • Schedule: Approximately 2–5 shifts per week
  • Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Sunday and Monday availability required

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of batters, buttercreams, frostings, mousses, and fillings
  • Support daily baking and pastry production according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with cupcake and cake decorating, as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
  • Work efficiently while standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to meet daily production needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of pastry or baking experience preferred
  • Experience with batters, buttercreams, frostings, and mousses strongly preferred
  • Cake decorating and baking experience a huge plus
