Job Summary:
We are seeking a Baking and Pastry Production Cook to join the team at Escuela! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads, Churro s, Ice creams, Cakes, and many sweet components. You will be responsible for opening the production kitchen in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous baking and pastry experience and a drive to excel in a team-driven environment with an array of moving parts. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we d like to hear from you! 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of desserts and sweets, including items for plated desserts as well as cakes, pies, cookies, and pastries 
  • Bake a variety of breads 
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas 
  • Follow all food safety regulations 
  • Track, maintain, and assist order inventory as necessary 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by our chef team
