At Abigail’s Oven, we’re connecting you to bread the way it's been made throughout history. With just three perfect ingredients.
The Position: We’re looking for a part/full-time Bakery Substitute for all our bakery positions, this includes our mixing, baking, packaging, driving, and farmers market positions. The hours of work would depend on what positions need to be covered in a particular week.
Job Details: 
  • Pay is $20 - $22 per hour. (The pay starts at an extra $5.00 an hour higher than each of these positions)
  • Guaranteed 20 hours per week, max 40 hours per week.  
  • Plenty of work and variety. We always have lots of positions that need to be covered.
  • A free sourdough bread stipend.
Requirements:
  • Schedule: If you are available to work only some of these positions then apply and we can see what’s possible.
  • Baking hours are Mon. 7 am to 12 - 2 pm, Tue. 5 - 6 am to 10 am - 12 pm, Thu. 5 - 6 am to 12 - 3 pm, and Fri. 5 - 6 am to 11 am – 2 pm.
  • Mixing hours are Sunday 9 pm - Monday 3 am, Monday 5 pm - 9 pm. Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm, Thursday 5 pm - 11 pm. 
  • Packaging hours are Mon 4 - 8:30 pm, Tues 4 - 7 pm, Th 4 - 9:00 pm, Fri 4 - 8:30 pm. 
  • Farmers markets are typically Saturdays in the morning or afternoon.
  • Driving hours can be at 4 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and run about 9 hours
  • Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers Permit.
  • Entry-level position, no experience necessary, will train on-site.
  • Must be versatile, willing to do sales, baking, driving, etc. willing to do all aspects of the bakery.  Opportunity for advancement in a growing company. 
  • Must be dependable, positive, reliable, and work well with others.
  • Must be good at following instructions, and have good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
