Thump Coffee - Full or Part-Time Bakery Production & Delivery Assistant (Night Shift)


Early mornings, fresh pastries, and helping set the whole team up for success.


Our overnight bakery crew works while Bend sleeps—preparing food, supporting production, making deliveries, and helping our cafés start strong each morning. This role is a mix of delivery driving, food prep/baking support, and cleaning/organization throughout the shift.


We pay at the top end for Bend ($20–$22/hr), feed you a free shift meal, and surround you with a team that cares deeply about quality, teamwork, and serving our community well.


The Role

Full-Time Bakery Production & Delivery Assistant position, 4-5 days/week with weekend availability. Shifts run from 3am–11am at our York Café, Bakery, & Roastery.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver pastries and products to cafés and wholesale partners
  • Prepare items like muffins, cookies, and breakfast sandwiches
  • Support overnight bakery production and daily prep tasks
  • Help with cleaning, dishes, organization, and keeping the bakery running smoothly
  • Work closely with a disciplined, supportive team that rallies behind daily goals
  • Help ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality throughout the shift

*Physical Realities of the Job

This is active, on-your-feet work. Expect to:

  • Lift and carry heavy mixing bowls, baking trays, and ingredients and bins
  • Operate large ovens, mixers, and other commercial baking gear
  • Push/pull baking racks and carts
  • Stand/walk for most of your shift
  • Bend, reach, and stoop to grab ingredients and tools
  • Roll, stir, fold, and shape doughs and batters
  • Tackle dish duty—because clean tools make great food
  • Must be 18 years or older
