Bagging Line Production Operator
Location: Easton
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Description
Immediate openings for two dependable and motivated Bagging Line Production Operators to work together as a team in an industrial production environment. Both team members will learn the two primary components of the bagging operation and work interchangeably to keep production running safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidates will be comfortable working independently, solving problems, taking initiative, and working closely with team members and management.
Overtime is paid at time and a half. Following the successful completion of the introductory period, benefits include vision and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate bagging machinery, forklifts, hand tools, and stationary industrial equipment
  • Monitor machinery and make adjustments as needed
  • Follow product recipes and coordinate production orders
  • Follow established production schedules
  • Maintain inventory of raw materials and supplies needed for production
  • Follow quality control standards and guidelines
  • Keep accurate production records and complete required shift reports
  • Communicate production updates and concerns with other shifts, office staff, and management
  • Identify and help resolve equipment or production issues
  • Work with a partner to optimize production and minimize downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Willingness to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
  • Comfortable working safely around industrial machinery and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for three to four hours at a time
  • Comfortable working in an environment containing hay and dust
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to maximizing production while maintaining safety and quality
