Job Summary
The Capital & Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for leading capital projects and providing technical engineering support for manufacturing equipment, processes, and plant systems. The role manages capital projects from concept through commissioning and serves as a technical resource supporting equipment performance, reliability, safety, capacity, and operational effectiveness. 
Primary Responsibilities:
Capital Engineering & Project Management 
  • Develop and manage capital projects from concept through commissioning and handover. 
  • Develop and manage capital projects from concept through commissioning and handover. 
  • Prepare project scopes, budgets, schedules, specifications, and business justifications.
  • Coordinate equipment procurement, supplier evaluations, FAT, SAT, installation, and startup activities.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors throughout project execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, drawings, and engineering records. 
Manufacturing Process Engineering 
  • Support optimization and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment. 
  • Analyze equipment performance data and identify technical solutions to manufacturing constraints. 
  • Develop and maintain plant layouts, process flow diagrams, and engineering specifications. 
  • Support new equipment implementations and new product introductions. 
  • Conduct equipment capability assessments and production trials. 
Equipment Performance & Technical Support 
  • Support Operations and Maintenance in troubleshooting complex technical issues. 
  • Lead equipment modifications that improve safety, reliability, and performance. 
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action development. 
  • Review downtime trends and performance losses to support operational objectives. 
  • Support predictive and preventive maintenance initiatives through engineering analysis. 
Compliance, Safety & Quality 
  • Ensure engineering activities meet safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Support risk assessments, machine safety reviews, and audit activities. 
Cross Functional Collaboration 
  • Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance. 
  • Provide technical recommendations, project updates, and engineering guidance. 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or project engineering. 
  • Experience managing capital projects in an industrial manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong project management, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
