Job description

Description:
The Catering Supervisor supervises the total catering operations in one of our units. This position includes duties such as catering order taking, driver scheduling, catering production and preparation, general cleanliness and organization of the catering department. The Catering Supervisor works with outside customers and directly communicates with guests daily.
As the Catering Supervisor, you will supervise the preparation, presentation and service of our great food. The Catering Supervisor interacts closely with catering & retail employees as well as the restaurant managers.
Essential Functions:
-Takes and modifies orders over phone using POS
-Enters orders placed online into POS
-Resolves customer concerns with manager approval
-Assigns deliveries to catering employees
-Begins and completes baking/food preparation
-Assembles catering food in baskets, trays and bowls
-Makes deliveries / by vehicle and or by foot
-Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation
-Responsible for clean-up duties
-Empties trash as required
-Responsible for distributing tips daily
-Executes Catering Sales initiatives as necessary, including but not limited to:
Daily customer call backs
Menu drops
Community event coordination and execution
Menu presentations and food tastings
Identifying sales leads through active territory canvassing
Secondary Functions; Expo Duties, Cashier, Dishwasher, Line Cook

-Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
-Checks bathrooms
-Busses tables
-Prepares food to spec and order request
-Responsible for maintaining accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions
-Prepares and organizes food for delivery to guest
Requirements:
Job Specifications and Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent or in process of completing same
• Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers' license with insurance
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• Preferably a minimum of 3 months work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Proficient in MS Office environment and POS systems
• Possess strong guest service and communication skills..
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
