Emish Market is a Ukrainian grocery store located in Fife, WA, offering a wide selection of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. In addition to our market, we operate a full-service café, bakery, and meat department, preparing fresh Ukrainian dishes, pastries, breads, and specialty products daily. Our mission is to create a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest.

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Croissant Baker to join our bakery team. This role focuses on preparing high-quality laminated dough pastries, with an emphasis on croissants and related Viennoiserie products. The ideal candidate has strong pastry experience, consistency in execution, and takes pride in producing visually appealing and delicious baked goods.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare croissant dough from scratch, including mixing, laminating, folding, and shaping
  • Produce croissants and other laminated pastries according to recipes and production standards
  • Ensure consistent product quality, size, and appearance across all batches
  • Manage proofing, baking times, and oven temperatures for optimal results
  • Assist with other bakery production tasks such as fillings, creams, and specialty pastries as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe bakery workstation at all times
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
  • Work closely with the bakery team to meet daily production goals and deadlines
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages to the bakery manager

Work Schedule: 04:00 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday - Saturday

Pay & Compensation: $20-$24 per hour depending on experience

Benefits:
