Role Purpose The Bag Runner is responsible for transporting, sorting, and delivering passenger baggage within airport facilities to ensure timely movement between terminals, baggage areas, aircraft operations, and customer service locations. This role supports efficient baggage handling, minimizes delays, and helps ensure customer satisfaction through accurate and timely baggage movement while maintaining safety and security standards. What you will be doing: * Transport baggage between terminals, baggage claim areas, ticket counters, aircraft staging areas, and designated airport locations * Assist with locating, recovering, and delivering delayed, misplaced, or priority baggage * Coordinate with airline staff, baggage service offices, ramp teams, and airport personnel regarding baggage movement and delivery priorities * Load, unload, move, and organize baggage carts, containers, and equipment safely and efficiently * Verify baggage tags, claim information, and routing details to ensure accurate bag delivery and handling * Respond to urgent baggage requests and assist with time-sensitive transfers or missed connection baggage * Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to baggage transfers, deliveries, or discrepancies * Follow all airport, airline, and company safety, security, and operational procedures * Conduct routine inspections of carts and equipment and report safety concerns or operational issues * Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service when interacting with passengers and airport stakeholders * Support operational needs during irregular operations, peak travel periods, and weather-related disruptions * Perform other duties as requested Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance: You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
