Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents. 


Do you have what it takes to be the center of the show? The Hartford Wolf Pack is seeking an energetic Mascot to join the staff in the role of Community Relations Coordinator. This individual will have a self-motivated attitude and desire to represent the Wolf Pack brand to the highest standards.

This role pays an hourly rate of $19.00-$25.00

PeoplesBank Arena is also home to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, the primary developmental affiliate of the New York Rangers. PeoplesBank Arena entertains millions of visitors annually with a variety of concerts, family shows, and ice-skating spectaculars throughout the season. The venue has played host to an extraordinary roster of world-renowned artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, Andrea Bocelli, Bad Bunny, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Pearl Jam, and many others.

PeoplesBank Arena will continue to be the center of sports and entertainment for Hartford and the State of Connecticut for years to come.


  • Schedule all public appearances for Sonar throughout the calendar year.
  • Perform as Sonar at all scheduled public appearances.
  • Preserve the identity of the mascot without deviating from established character including: - Body Language/Mannerisms - Attitude - Fan Interaction - Team Representation.
  • Maintain and care for mascot costume as well as props and equipment.
  • Serve as the backup mascot performer on game nights.
  • Will assist in booking brand activation events during the course of the season.
  • Will assist in the formation and execution of the Wolf Pack’s school program (i.e. bullying program, reading program, etc.).
  • Support other Wolf Pack Marketing, Game Operations, & Community initiatives and events as directed.
  • Attend and participate in applicable Marketing, Game Operations, & Community meetings.

  • Proven experience of appropriately working with and around confidential information.
  • Flexible schedule – ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
  • Ability to wear the mascot costume for at least two hours (with breaks).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
