Job description

Production Lead executes excellent weekend service along with building, developing, and caring for a volunteer team.


LOCATION
: East Valley 

HOURS: 25 per week 

- Tuesday: Campus Engagement/ work day (~5.5 hrs) 

- 1st and 3rd Wednesdays Youth Live Worship (~2-4 hrs)

- Thursday: Weekend Programming Huddle and Rehearsal (~6 hrs)

- Sunday: Weekend Services set up and running of services (~7 hrs) 

- Misc: ~6.5 hrs to prepare, invest in team, learn, etc 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Execute Excellent Weekend Service 

  • Arrive before services to set up systems for all spaces 
  • Turn on all lights and music in spaces/hallways 
  • Perform mic checks and test any other production equipment being used
  • Hold a pre-service runthrough meeting with Worship and Production teams 
  • Oversee services 
  • Shut down equipment at the end of services 
  • Clean up production spaces
    • Ensure that all production spaces are left in a clean condition
    • Make sure to straighten up any backstage spaces 
  • Fill out and submit Weekend Eval before Monday @ 10am 

Build, Develop, and Care For a Volunteer Team 

  • Recruit volunteers to serve on the production team
  • Equip the team to do the work of ministry
    • Train team members to execute services with excellence on the various positions
    • Develop a core team of leaders who lead and coach the students for midweek programming
    • Empower and release the core team of leaders to lead in their respective spaces and keep younger volunteers off their phones and computer games and on task
  • Care and pray for the volunteers on the team 

Lead Yourself Well 

  • Pursue training opportunities to further your skills and knowledge in production
  • Pursue leadership training as you learn to lead 
  • Create healthy spiritual rhythms
    • Attend at least one adult service a week
    • Be part of a discipleship group here at Sandals Church

        Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour.
