You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, in a supportive outpatient office setting once a month for team meetings and supervisions. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments using a range of evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to design personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Implement effective therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations to safeguard client information.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance care quality.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families, empowering them with an understanding of mental health conditions and resources available in the community.
• Regularly review current research on mental health treatments to ensure evidence-based practices are utilized in client care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Backpack Mental Support, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Your expertise will play a vital role in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience that can lead to lasting change.

• A Master's degree or a Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• A deep understanding of solution-based psychotherapy approaches, enabling you to effectively tailor your therapeutic techniques to meet the individual needs of clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build meaningful connections with clients and collaborate successfully with colleagues.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for addressing client challenges with practical solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, appreciating the contributions of your peers while fostering a culture of support and growth.

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings, with a demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
