As a Security Officer Entry Verification in Milford, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor access points, verify entry credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access in a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access-related and/or security-related matters.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
