Architectural Designer - Akron, OH

Salary Range: $60K - $80K Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits

Akron, Ohio area A&E Firm seeks an experienced Architectural Designer who is familiar with AutoCAD and Revit to produce architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs. Overall Architectural Design experience should exceed (5) years.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have an Architectural Degree with a minimum of (3) years of design experience working for a Professional Architect and/or a Professional Engineer.
  • Candidates should have the ability to analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
  • Candidates will work with other architects and engineers to coordinate and evaluate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs to determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
  • Candidates are expected to be able to prepare cost estimates, contracts, bidding documents and technical reports for specific projects
  • Candidates must be able to create drawings, technical plans and models utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Candidates will visit job sites to compile measurements as necessary.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
