Job Description

As a Security Officer Badge Check Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading automotive location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. In this role, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You may also conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • DayTime Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established post procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related issues, support access control operations, and report maintenance or policy concerns.
  • Assist with visitor management, vehicle screening, and/or delivery coordination in an automotive location while maintaining accurate logs, following posted instructions, and providing clear directions to guests.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
