Job Summary:
VNSURE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a .NET Web Developer -II to join their team for a high-profile web application project. The role involves designing and developing both front-end and back-end components of the application, with an emphasis on modernizing legacy systems and ensuring quality code through TDD.
Responsibilities:
• work on a high-profile web application project within the Child Care and Child Welfare (CCCW) section of DCF
• requirements analysis
• design
• front-end and back-end web application development
• testing
• participation in interactive code reviews
• development using JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC with C#, with SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle databases
• development of quality code using TDD
• participation in active code reviews
• sharing expertise
• respectful communication
• transparency
• technical documentation
• ability to perform production support
Qualifications:
Required:
• Writing Custom SQL (6 years)
• .NET MVC with C# (6 years)
• Full stack development (6 years)
Preferred:
• Familiarity with automated testing methodologies
• GitLab or Jenkins or other continuous integration platforms
• Knowledge of DCF programs
• Prior experience with the Wisconsin CARES system
• Familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards
• Familiarity with DCF Child Care applications
• DB2 Mainframe experience
• COBOL language experience
• Experience modernizing mainframe COBOL applications into .NET or other modern languages
• xPression experience
• iOS, Objective-C, and Swift experience
• Front-end web app UI design experience
• Front-end web frameworks including Angular, React, Vue.js, Alpine.js, Blazor Server, or similar
• Kendo UI experience
• Crystal Reports or Telerik Reports experience
• Familiarity with applications running in IIS
• Familiarity with PowerShell
• Experience with configuring CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps Artifacts
• Familiar with TFS/Azure DevOps
• Familiar with JIRA
• VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms
• Source control using Git
