  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Progressively take on back-end development responsibilities using Node.js, contributing to API design, data models, and server-side logic as skills grow.

  • Partner with back-end and DevOps engineers to understand system architecture, gradually expanding ownership across the full stack.

  • Integrate with E-commerce platforms and payment gateways to enable smooth and secure transactions.

  • Implement product catalog displays, shopping carts, and checkout processes to enhance the overall E-commerce experience.

  • Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of components across the stack.

  • Conduct thorough testing of E-commerce functionalities, including order processing.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes as full-stack responsibilities increase.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in front-end, back-end, and E-commerce development.

  • Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered agents for both internal tooling and external/customer-facing experiences, leveraging LLMs and related AI frameworks.

  • Actively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging, and champion opportunities to apply AI to boost team productivity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience developing responsive, production-grade web applications using React.js (experience with Next.js a plus).

  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Working knowledge of, or strong interest and willingness to develop, back-end technologies such as Node.js and RESTful/GraphQL APIs, with the expectation to grow into full-stack, cross-functional work over time.

  • Good understanding of ADA requirements and implementation.

  • Experience with software versioning and release management using code versioning tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging AI technologies, including building AI-powered agents and integrating LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) into applications.

  • Willingness to continuously learn and adopt AI coding assistants and other AI productivity tools, staying up to date with the latest advancements to streamline workflows and complete tasks more effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Exposure to Node.js server-side development, Express, or serverless architectures.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for E-commerce websites.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
