DPP is seeking a Senior API / Integration Engineer for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location: Partial onsite (Tues., Wed., Thurs.) and as needed in Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 months
Term: W2 position
Work authorization: Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance.
Position summary:
  • This is a back-end Integration Engineer who specializes in building and managing APIs, connecting enterprise systems, and handling data movement across platforms using tools like API gateways, message queues, and transformation services.

About the LEDS team:
  • LEDS (Leveraged Enterprise Data Services) is a 20-person cross-functional team comprised of developers, designers, analysts, and team leads responsible for enterprise-wide system integrations. The team manages high-volume, concurrent initiatives (up to 90 at a time), with members frequently contributing across multiple efforts.
  • They support real-time data integration across the organization, connecting internal systems, external partners, and both on-prem and cloud platforms. This includes designing, building, and maintaining API-driven integrations, as well as leveraging gateway and transformation platforms to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange. 
Minimum required work experience:
  • 2 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience. 
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 6 years without a degree)
