Job description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy OB-GYN/Women's Health practice. This role is ideal for a skilled back-office Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing high patient volumes, and takes pride in providing compassionate, efficient, and patient-centered care. You will work closely with providers to support clinical operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting providers with gynecological exams and in-office procedures, preparing exam rooms, maintaining infection control standards, providing patient education, and accurately documenting in the EMR.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Shift: Monday - Thursday / 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Miracle Mile)

Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
โ€ข Minimum of 1 year of Back Office Medical Assistant experience in an OBGYN/Women's Health clinical setting
โ€ข Strong back-office Medical Assistant experience with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Bilingual Spanish preferred
โ€ข Experience administering injections and immunizations, assisting with medications, and performing blood draws as directed by providers.
โ€ข Knowledge of processing laboratory specimens and coordinating diagnostic testing, imaging, and follow-up care
โ€ข Proficiency with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation
โ€ข Experience processing prescription refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and coordinating specialty care
