Bassett Furniture Seeking Bookkeeper and Back Office Manager at the Lone Tree Location

About the Role

Local retail furniture company seeks an experienced bookkeeper. You'll manage day-to-day bookkeeping across several related accounts, so comfort juggling multi-tasking proficiency is a must. On hand training to learn industry software, AP, AR GL and all aspects that is required. Part Time may be considered for the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoice entry, reconciliation
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Month-end close support and reporting
  • Expense and receipt tracking per company policy
  • Intercompany transaction recording
  • Monthly State and Local Tax reporting and licensing
  • Assist with Payroll and HR reporting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (required)
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Excel; High platform adaptability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Available to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with occasional 6pm closing shift

Preferred

  • Multi-entity or intercompany bookkeeping experience
  • Experience in a regulated furniture or retail industry
