Job description

Behavioral Health Clinician

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.


CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.

Job Summary

ย The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The Behavioral Health Clinician coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services. The Behavioral Health Clinician completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program. The BHC documents provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs. The BHC coordinates care with the family or other significant others.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health. Masterโ€™s Degree is preferred but not required. Masterโ€™s Degree in field related to behavioral health and/or has been licensed at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Addiction Counselor preferred.
  • 1-3 years of full-time Health Care related work experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
  • Valid identification required.
  • Licensure at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Addiction Counselor is preferred.
