Requisition Summary

As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in driving financial insight and operational excellence across the plant. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your analysis directly influences performance, profitability, and decision-making.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

   Own critical close activities by supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, ensuring timely reporting and delivering high-quality financial information.
   Play a key role in financial integrity by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation that drive accurate and reliable financial reporting.
   Help ensure employees of a large truck manufacturing facility are paid accurately and on time by supporting payroll processes, validating payroll data, reconciling payroll accounts, and assisting with audits and compliance activities.
   Transform data into business value by leveraging analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and deliver actionable insights through dashboards, visualizations, and financial analysis that support strategic decision-making.
   Contribute to SAP and Workforce system enhancements, and process improvement projects that shape the future of the organization.
   Influence business outcomes by evaluating performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior results, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
   Support successful audits by preparing key documentation, collaborating with auditors, and helping strengthen the organization's control environment.
   Apply GAAP principles, maintain strong internal controls, and identify opportunities to mitigate risk.
   Assist in continuous improvement by streamlining accounting processes, leveraging automation, and implementing solutions that increase efficiency and accuracy.
   Partner across the business with teams in operations, materials, human resources, and other functions to provide financial guidance that supports strategic decision-making and long-term success.

   Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Accounting with 1-5 years of accounting experience required; manufacturing environment preferred. 
   Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) and working knowledge of PowerPoint, Access, and Word. 
   Experience with Data Analytics (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
   Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills. 
   Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
