ACCOUNTING CLERK
CLICK CLACK! Are you skilled in corporate accounting principles and ready to be a key part of the accounting team in a thriving entertainment company? If so, we are looking for an outgoing accounting clerk to join our cast!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Provide support to the accounting department, in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures
  • Complete auditing tasks
  • Process accounts payables and/or accounts receivables as required
  • Maintain, verify, and update numerous accounting ledgers
  • Assist with regular bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare and deliver accounting reports as directed
  • Keep all sensitive company information confidential
  • Perform general office support such as filing and other administrative tasks
  • Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work-related duties
  • Various data-entry tasks
  • Assess and research accounting issues, reporting to staff accountant to identify solutions
  • Perform other accounting related duties and tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other related field preferred
  • 2+ years of proven accounting experience, preferable in AP/AR in a corporate environment
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop
  • High-level of competency with Excel spreadsheets, intermediate level and above only
  • Proficiency with financial software
  • Experience with corporate and business taxes a plus
  • Experience assisting with corporate tax returns and financial reporting

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work environment: Fast-paced, in-person office setting
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours a day
  • May be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and telephone
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required, up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required due to viewing computer terminals and company data
