Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach high school-level science in a small classroom setting, managing daily instruction and promoting positive classroom behavior.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, labs, projects, and assessments that align with academic standards while remaining responsive to student interests and learning levels.
  • Create hands-on learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
  • Adapt instruction and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with IEPs or behavioral support plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including special educators, behavior consultants, and administrators to ensure individualized support for each student.
  • Contribute to a positive school culture and help students meet both academic and personal growth goals.
