Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for an exciting Travel Allied job in Pittsfield, MA. Shift: 8 hr days Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $2911.38 / Week

Travel Radiation Therapist (RTT) - Acute Care

Please note: 1 year experience required within the last 5 years

RTT Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Radiation Therapist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your radiation therapy skills while advancing your career as an RTT. The travel assignment will entail treating cancer and other diseases in patients by administering radiation treatments. You care about patients and want to help them achieve their best outcome through radiation therapy. You will explain treatments to patients, treat patients with radiation, and monitor their reaction to treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with patients to explain treatment plans and answer any questions.
  • Calibrate and operate machines to administer prescribed doses of radiation.
  • Maintain safety, keep accurate patient records, including radiation dosages, treatment areas, and patient reactions.
Job Requirements:
  • Completion of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Science Degree
  • Valid state licensure
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Current CPR/ BLS certification
  • 1 year experience required within the last 5 years
