Job description

Since 2016, our team has been making a difference in the lives of children and families across our communities. Schedule: Must be available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

What You'll Do:
As a Behavior Therapist, you'll work with children to help them learn new skills, build confidence, and reach their goals. You'll be part of a supportive team that works together to make each day fun, rewarding, and full of growth for both the kids and our team members.

Your Role Includes:

  • Working directly with children (usually one-on-one) to support behavior goals
  • Following a personalized plan created for each child
  • Using play, creativity, and patience to teach new skills
  • Supporting families and sharing progress
  • Taking notes and tracking the child's progress
  • Working closely with your team and supervisor to make sure the child is getting the best support possible

  • Experience working with children is a big plus (but we'll provide training if you're new!)

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in psychology or related field from an accredited institution preferred, or enrollment in degree program leading to a degree in psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children with autism in an educational or therapy setting for at least 6 months
  • Complete TB test and livescan clearance
  • Must be comfortable with diaper changes.
  • Must be available M-F 8-5PM
