Overview
Corporate Tools in Post Falls, Idaho is hiring a Business Analyst who is passionate about digging into the details, analyzing inefficiencies and brainstorming solutions. You will work closely with our Accounting, Finance, Data, and Operations teams. This person will be diving deep into our industry and business to learn all the ins and outs of our service offerings. In this role you will be expected to ask questions, lots and lots of questions. We want you to dig until there is nothing left. This position is coded as "Hybrid" which means occasional remote work is available, however, this role will be expected to work in our Post Falls, Idaho office 2-3/days/week.

$70,000 / year

Responsibilities
  • Help define, document, and manage requirements.
  • Report, interpret, and translate business data to provide insights that drive effective business decisions and employee performance.
  • Provide data collection and analysis support to cross-functional teams in the execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gain a strong understanding of existing service offerings and business processes.
  • Ask questions to peel back the layers and figure out how the business unit should behave.
  • Create and manage business analysis lifecycle documents such as functional requirements specifications and integration requirement specifications.
  • Work independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various business initiatives.
  • Teach, train, and guide Jr members to analyze and distribute data.
  • Keep your head on a swivel... things change here and they change fast!

Requirements
  • This position is coded as "Hybrid" which means occasional remote work is available, however, this role will be expected to work in our Post Falls, Idaho office 2-3/days/week.
  • 3+ years of previous business analyst experience
  • Bachelor's (BA or BS) in business, accounting, or related field preferred
  • In-depth experience in creating and documenting detailed requirements for business processes.
  • Ability to analyze and define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Trained to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer centric approaches.
  • Good communicator with active listening skills.
  • Demonstrated fluency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Lucid Chart, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Preferred qualification: Experience querying Postgres JSONB columns is a plus.
  • Preferred qualification: Experience in business intelligence using Postgres, mysql, mariadb, or aurora db.
  • Demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, facilitation and presentation skills.
