Position:

Electronic Technician

Education:

The ideal candidate will possess a BS in EET or ECT and should have an excellent GPA.

Major Duties:

1) Testing and troubleshoot a variety of circuit boards newly manufactured by our circuit board department.

2) Assistance with technical writing and misc. documentation creation.

3) Possible testing of CT’s and TIR’s

4) Assisting with inventory counting.

5) Possible DME system testing and troubleshooting.

6) Possible pre-shipment documentation inspection and verification.

7) Technical support for customers and in-house production personnel.

8) This list is not all encompassing and other duties may be required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

1) Understanding electronic circuit theory and the ability to read electrical schematics is a must.

2) Electronic circuit troubleshooting.

3) Understanding point-to-point wiring diagrams and basic mechanical drawings.

4) Knowledge of IPC standards and a soldering certification is a plus.

5) Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is a must.

6) Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills are a must.

7) Excellent work ethic with a proven ability to self-direct and motivate is a must.

8) AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience is a plus.

9) Travel experience and customer relations experience is a plus.

10) The ability to manage multiple priorities and embrace a "hands-on" approach to the work environment, actively participating in practical aspects of manufacturing, testing, shipment, and possible field commissioning.

11) Experience in the power engineering or electric utility industry is a plus.

Work Schedule:

1) 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

2) The flexibility to work overtime on short notice is a must.
