This degree provides a strong foundation in accounting principles, taxation, auditing, and financial reporting. Many graduates pursue careers in public accounting, private industry, government, or nonprofit organizations. Additionally, a bachelor’s degree in accounting is often the first step toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or pursuing advanced degrees, such as a master's in accounting or business administration.
