Job Description

This position is to maintain and enhance the Medicare Part A and/or Medicare Part B claims processing system. The project responsibilities include research and analysis, writing requirements, test plans, test cases and documentation, test case execution and help with resolution of defects and/or PROBLEMS. The role involves performing business analyst skills in a rigorous, high-maturity environment.

This is an entry-level position suitable for a recent college graduate or early-career candidate.

  • Gain understanding of customer requirements and high level design
  • Create detailed requirements deliverables
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases
  • Assist with Unit testing
  • Complete Alpha testing
  • Update user specifications
  • Create work product review packets and obtain sign-off
  • Resolve defects
  • Assist with PROBLEMS
  • Provide weekly individual status report to communicate progress versus schedule, successes, and needs
  • Effectively communicate, written and verbal, at a level appropriate for client and other project stakeholder interaction.

This position is for a Business Analyst supporting the Medicare Part A and/or Medicare Part B shared system maintainer task orders under the Enterprise System Development (ESD) contract. This position requires motivated individuals with the ability to quickly learn techniques to analyze problems and solutions, create clear and concise requirements, update documentation and provide solid critical thinking skills for test case creation and execution.
