Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a per diem, experienced, certified NNP to join our outstanding group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners at our Macon, Georgia practice. Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital, located in Macon, Georgia is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia.

Responsibilities:
  • Our practice consists of the 66-bed, state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU
  • Services provided include: high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and a brain cooling
  • Readily available subspecialty support
  • Exceptional coverage by experienced NNPs
  • Shifts are 12 or 16 hours in house
  • Atrium Health Navicent is a designated Level-I trauma center, one of six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia and three-time Magnet Designated hospital for nursing excellence nationwide
  • Opened new 50,000 square foot, state of the art neonatal intensive care unit: Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital in the first quarter of 2019: Children's Hospital | Atrium Health Navicent | Macon, GA (childrenshospitalnh.org)
Qualifications:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master s degree
  • Certified NNP with recent experience required
  • GA license or compact state license required
