Job description

Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and engaging group facilitator who has experience in mental health and addiction services. The Group Facilitator position consists of teaching and performing groups that focus on relapse prevention, DBT, ACT, music therapy, art therapy, and/or other therapy based group sessions.
Group Facilitators need to have strong group facilitation skills and knowledge and experience in clinical documentation and be able to submit group therapy notes in a timely manner. This is a PRN position.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's in psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Social Work required.
Masters preferred
Schedule:
Flexible, PRN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cordially greets and provides direction for patients and guests.
  • Cordially greets and provides direction for patients and ensures orientation of new patients immediately upon admission.
  • Introduces new clients to therapeutic community.
  • Facilitate Psychoeducation weekly and on as needed basis. Documentation of groups and guest therapists as needed.
  • Communicates all pertinent clinical information and documentation related to patient's intake process to the treatment programs.
  • Provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary by anticipating and responding to escalating behaviors and correctly prioritizing safety concerns.
  • Prepares for and facilitates psycho-educational groups and documents resident progress.
  • Observes all confidentiality regulations.
