Complexity Of Duties

Under direct supervision, this is routine manual work calling for the services of a skilled operator. Work involves considerable responsibility for safety of school children.

Typical Duties

  • Operates a school bus on a regular schedule.
  • Occasionally drives students to and from special events.
  • Cleans, washes and polishes bus.
  • Changes oil, puts on chains, repairs tires and performs a variety of minor repair tasks.
